CMCH Launches Dedicated Type 1 Diabetes Care Centre

Coimbatore Medical College Hospital (CMCH), in collaboration with Idhayangal Charitable Trust and the National Health Mission, inaugurated a dedicated Type 1 Diabetes Care Centre for children. The centre offers free insulin support, glucose monitoring, HbA1c testing, diabetes education, counselling, and screening services. This milestone strengthens access to specialized healthcare and enables children with Type 1 Diabetes to receive timely diagnosis, treatment, and long-term support close to home.
