Awesome day at Salem supporting 170 deserving underprivileged children with type 1diabetes, all the tiredness of 4 am start from coimbatore, 6 hrs drive up and down, 9 hours of non stop review of 170 children vanished seeing the happiness in our children's faces, the mean A1c for this group has come down from around 12 percent to 8, all children and families bowled us with their absolute love and affection, jeevitha made us feel like a rock star celebrity so happy with a photograph with her doctor, Karunya and Shanmathi presenting our team with small gifts with their parents hard earned money, flowers guava fruits and whatever grows in their area, Team Idhayangal felt blessed with such unwavering affection from children and families who gave everything even though they had nothing, all our Salem district children and their parents are Idhayangal stars of the monthKavitha and Ganga are idhayangal stars of the month
